Parsons is committed to the principles of equal opportunity for all job applicants and employees and as such, the company does not engage in impermissible discrimination based on any protected characteristic, including an individual’s disability. Parsons Corporation’s policy is to provide a reasonable accommodation to any individual with a disability who needs such an accommodation to perform his/her job. Parsons will make reasonable accommodations for a disclosed physical or mental disability or a disclosed medical condition of an applicant or employee, consistent with its legal obligation to do so.
Reasonable accommodation discussions that are necessary to comply with the state and federal disability discrimination laws may be held as appropriate, including, making reasonable accommodations for the known physical or mental disability or known medical condition of an applicant or employee, consistent with legal obligations. Any information provided by the employee related to a reasonable accommodation is confidential and subject to federal/state privacy laws. Every effort is made to participate in a timely, good faith, interactive process with the disabled applicant or employee to determine effective reasonable accommodations, if any, that can be made in response to a request for accommodation. This standard applies to the Parsons Corporation and all Parsons’ businesses and subsidiaries within the U.S.
The Talent Management Department and the Corporate ADA Coordinator will assist disabled individuals in handling their requests and also support management in engaging in the interactive process to help determine reasonable accommodations that are appropriate and consistent with the company’s legal obligation.
